Magic Notes
Records a social care conversation and drafts the assessment, summary and actions. Built for social care, processed in the UK, and used by several English councils.
Good for
- Drafting an assessment or review from a recorded conversation, in social care language
- Services that need UK-only processing to satisfy commissioners or a DSPT return
- Organisations that prefer buying through an existing public sector framework
Watch out for
- Recording a conversation with someone you support needs a lawful basis and, in almost all cases, telling them. Several councils published a privacy notice before switching it on, which is the standard to copy.
- Pricing is not published anywhere, so you cannot compare it without going to sales.
- We could not confirm a data processing agreement or any security certification from a published source. Ask for both in writing.
- Most published experience comes from large council adult social care teams. A small domiciliary provider is a different setting, and the results may not carry across.
- The 46% admin reduction quoted for Somerset comes from the council and the supplier, not from an independent evaluation. Treat it as a claim, not a finding.
Before you choose it
Take our question sheet to any conversation with the supplier.
