We build AI tools for care, and we tell you where they fall short.
We are a small team that designs and builds AI software for health and social care. We started this hub because care leaders deserve better information than a sales deck.

We write the software, test it with the people who will use it, and fix it when it gets things wrong. We work with care providers, charities and not-for-profit organisations across the UK.
Building these tools shows us what AI does well, where it fails, and how much work it takes to make it safe for a care setting. We share that here in plain language, so you can judge for yourself.

Founder
Tim started the company after more than 20 years advising organisations across a range of sectors. His instinct is to find the real problem first, and to be straight about whether technology is part of the answer at all.

Rick leads the engineering behind our builds, focused on reliability, privacy and making AI systems that hold up in day-to-day use rather than only in a demo.
Being open
How this hub is funded
The hub is free and has no advertising, sponsorship or paid listings. We pay for it from our paid work: helping care organisations prove the return on AI, fix what is blocking it and put the right solution in place, and Eva (a voice check-in service).
That means we have an interest in AI being used. We think the best way to handle that is to say so plainly, keep the hub useful on its own, and be as honest about AI’s limits as about its uses, including in our own products.

Claims about regulators, statistics and tools are checked against the source. Guides, use pages and directory entries show where each fact came from and the date we last read it, so you can check our reading against the original.
Share the failures too.
When something we test does not work, we write it up. Others learn as much from that as from a success.

Our directory policy
- Nobody pays to be listed, and we use no affiliate links.
- We list tools care organisations ask us about, whether or not we like them.
- Our own tool, Eva, is listed with the same facts and cautions as every other entry, labelled "Made by us", and gets no special placement.
- Each entry shows the date we last checked its facts. Where we cannot confirm a fact, we say so rather than guess.
- Suppliers and readers can ask us to correct an entry. We check the source before changing anything.

Why this sector
Why health and social care
Care runs on paperwork: visit notes, care plans, rotas, incident reports, returns for commissioners. Most of it matters, and much of it repeats.
The organisations doing this work are often small, stretched, and wary of technology for good reason. Large suppliers rarely design with them in mind. We want them to have a fair way to decide whether AI helps, using evidence from their own work.
