A general AI assistant for drafting, summarising and rewording text. Only the Business and Enterprise plans come with a data processing agreement.
Good for
- First drafts of job adverts, funding bid sections, letters and policies
- Rewording a document into plainer English, or towards an easy-read format
- Summarising a long document you already hold, such as a policy or a report
- Brainstorming interview questions, checklists and meeting agendas
Watch out for
- Free and personal plans train on what you type unless the opt-out is switched on, and it is off until someone does it. Treat them as public and never enter anything about a person you support.
- No plan below Business carries SOC 2, ISO certification, UK data residency or a data processing agreement. A personal Plus account is not a lawful place for care records.
- On Business, your workspace admin can view, export and delete any member's conversations. Tell staff that before you roll it out.
- OpenAI says third-party contractors may review Business conversations to check for abuse and misuse.
- It states wrong facts confidently, including about regulation. Check anything you would not already know to be true.
